  7. The Select*Icon Series has gotten tremendous response.
  8. Thanks for all your ideas and inspirations. In gratitude,
  9. I've gone through the Requests List and put together this
  10. collection of the Two Dozen Most Requested Icons!

  12. My apologies to all my friends on Evangelist - I didn't do
  13. the anti Microsloth images I promised. Maybe next time.
  14. I'm just not the kinda person to hold a grudge. I'm sure
  15. Bill will be calling me any day now to apologize for what
  16. IE did to my internet configuration. But I digress...

  18. For those of you unfamiliar with the Select*Icons Series,
  19. you are in for a real treat! These are real masterpieces
  20. of icon design (if I DO say so, myself). Of course, like all
  21. icons in the Select* series, they do some interesting
  22. things when you select them.
  23.  
  24. Select*Icons are all lovingly hand crafted by PixelMaster, 
  25. Jason Rainbows. The most unique and strikingly beautiful
  26. icons available anywhere, each an individual jewel of icon
  27. design.

  29. Please enjoy them for their artistic value, and don't foist 
  30. animosity upon me for some of the subjects included. 
  31. Remember, these are what YOU - the general public -  
  32. requested and I am,  after all, your humble servant. I ask 
  33. nothing but to please.

  40. flying over a turbulent sea! Complete with mysterious
  41. apparition!

  43. DOSn't - Why do people insist upon using an archaic OS?

  45. MP3s - I'm gonna have to upgrade to a PPC so I can play
  46. MP3s too. Oh well, for you lucky ducks, here's a place to
  47. put your MP3 files. Open this folder for a SPECIAL treat!

  50. Enlightened and EnligtndDisk - "Oh Wotan Ah Siam..."

  61. SexMe and SexDisk - This is about as X-Rated as I get.
  62. Pretty tame actually. I'd say it's a tasteful "PG-13".

  68. KindaHemp and HempDisk - For medicinal purposes only.

  72. GamesDisk - This is the parent folder for the following;

  74. Adventure - Our young hero departs. For adventure games.

  76. MultiPlayer - Two didjits somewhat co-operating.

  78. Simulations - For all your Sims, flight, cities, etc...

  80. Arcade - Put your arcade games in here and send me
  81. your quarters!

  83. Card/Board - For card games, board games, that
  84. sorta thing.

  88. These icons are presented to you pasted onto empty folders.
  89. For those who have never customized their desktop icons,
  90. simple instructions are included at the end of the ReadMe. 
  91. It's as easy as cut and paste!

  93. This product is ShareWare, well ...actually its SawBuckWare.
  94. If you feel that these icons have enhanced your life at all,
  95. or if you just feel like doing something nice to one who
  96. has dedicated his life to doing nice things for others, send
  97. me a SawBuck ($10 bill USA).

  99. I understand that nobody uses ALL the icons in ANY collection.
  100. The shareware fee is for personal use of one or more of the
  101. icons in this collection and entitles the registered user to
  102. the entire collection of Select*Icons (about 8 volumes to date)!

  109. Paying for SelectRequestIcons is fairly simple. Open the Register!
  110. program, enter your name, your email address, and the number of single 
  111. user licenses you desire. Save or Copy or Print the data from the Register!
  112. program and send the data and payment to Kagi. Kagi handles my payment 
  113. processing.

  115. If paying with Credit Card or First Virtual, you can email or fax
  116. the data to Kagi. Their email address is sales@kagi.com and their
  117. fax number is +1 510 652-6589. You can either Copy the data from
  118. Register and paste into the body of an email message or you can Save 
  119. the data to a file and you can attach that file to an email message.
  120. There is no need to compress the data file, it's already pretty
  121. small. If you have a fax modem, just Print the data to the Kagi fax 
  122. number.

  124. Payments sent via email are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will
  125. receive an email acknowledgement when it is processed. Payments
  126. sent via fax take up to 10 days and if you provide a correct
  127. internet email address you will receive an email acknowledgement.

  130. using the Register application and send it to the address shown on
  131. the form, which is:

  157. If you've never changed icons on your Mac before
  158. let me quickly walk you through it here...

  160. -Select one of the nice new "SelectDidjitIcons".
  161. -Under the File Menu go to "Get Info"
  162. -See the picture of the icon at the top left 
  163.   of the info window? Click on it once. You'll see
  164.   a thin frame border appear. Good.
  165. -Under the Edit Menu go to "Copy"
  166. -Close the Info Window.
  167. -Select the old drab icon that you want
  168.   to replace.
  169. -Under File Menu, "Get Info"
  170. -Select the picture of the icon at top left
  171.   of this Info Window.
  172. -Under Edit Menu, go to "Paste"
  173. -Close that info window and the change is done!
